Since the development of the body protector some 40 years ago there has been little development in the improvement of rider safety- apart from developments and improvements to standards of vests and hats.  The Point-Two Air Jacket represents a major change in the scene and a vast improvment for rider safety when riding across country.

How Does the Point Two Jacket Work?
The new system operates in 0.15 of a second with inflation beginning in less than a 25 cm drop. The jackets are reusable after simple replacement of the CO² gas cartridge. The highly resistant polyester fabric Jacket or Gillet is washable once the airbag has been removed.

The coiled wire of the jacket connects with the holding strap placed at the saddle. After the rider has mounted the saddle, he or she clips the 2 ends together. The coiled wire enables full movement in all directions for the rider. The airbag will only be activated if the rider is separated from the horse. The airbag jacket will then inflate within 0.15 seconds, protecting the all important areas of the body, the neck, ribs and coccyx.

What does it do for me?
Meaning, if you fall from your horse, the jacket fully inflates to protect your neck, back, coccyx, collar bones and ribs BEFORE you hit the ground, the fence or in the event of a rotational fall.  It's like having your car airbag to protect your body!

The Point Two Air Jacket does not replace your body protector- it is worn as an additional measure to improve rider safety and to aid in the prevention of serious injuries.
